Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES…

  • Process improvement/reengineering – study current processes, document them, work with clients and colleagues to reengineer them as required.
  • Automation opportunity identification – work with clients’ representatives and RPA developers to identify processes suitable for automation.
  • Business case – work with SMEs and colleagues to develop business cases to support automation/process reengineering.
  • Capture and document all required material to allow RPA developers to build required solutions.
  • Stakeholder management – manage stakeholder expectations, build trust, keep clear priorities, keep realistic timelines and keep them up to date as required.
  • Successfully deliver projects in Agile environments at a SCRUM Master capacity (including facilitating Journey Mapping sessions, Sprint Planning, and Sprint Demo sessions with stakeholders).
  • Solution architecture design – lead in designing, specifying, and selecting information system solutions considering functionality, data, security, integration, infrastructure, and performance.
  • Creating handover documents to be delivered to clients at the end of each project.
  • Facilitator – act as a catalyst for process/business owners and process improvement teams (SMEs) to achieve defined improvement of objectives and specific goals.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED…

  • Solid Process Excellence experience (e.g. Lean Six Sigma) with proven experience working as a BA or similar role with experience in process reengineering.
  • Tertiary qualification and/or relevant industry certifications.
  • Demonstrated experience in analysis, interpretation, and translation of business requirements into viable solutions and compelling business cases.
  • Proficiency in Business Process Mapping, identifying alternative solutions, and recommending new approaches in order to drive continuous improvement.
  • Experience with documentation, functional specifications, cost modeling, and project scheduling.
  • Good understanding of project management processes and methodologies.
  • Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft suite (Excel, Visio, Access, Word).
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills with strong facilitation, influencing, and negotiating skills.
  • Highly developed written skills.
  • Proven critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Exposure to Agile environment.
  • To contribute to project delivery and implementation.
  • To be a team player.
  • To be a dynamic and motivated individual who takes pride in delivering quality results.
  • An understanding of process automation is preferred.
