Responsibilities

THE ROLE

The Transformation Director is a key member of the Bionic Team reporting to the CFO, accountable for delivering our in-year business plans while building the foundations for long-term growth. This role ensures transformation initiatives generate measurable value, strengthen our competitive advantage, and move us closer to our long-term strategic proposition in the SME market.
Working closely with the CFO, Executive Team, and operational leaders, the Transformation Director will set the transformation agenda, align resources, and drive cross-business change that delivers lasting impact

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Partner with the Executive Team to define and align long-term strategic goals, ensuring change delivers forecast value and sustainable advantage.
  • Develop and maintain a transformation roadmap that supports both organic and inorganic growth.
  • Establish and lead transformation governance to track delivery, manage risks, and resolve cross-team dependencies.
  • Hold delivery teams accountable for meeting agreed timelines, quality standards, and business outcomes.
  • Engage and align operational leaders to ensure transformation priorities are embedded and sustained.
  • Allocate resources effectively across the organisation to reflect strategic priorities.
  • Define, track, and report on benefit realisation metrics for all transformation initiatives.
  • Provide objective, data-led challenge to proposed initiatives, investments, and operational decisions.
  • Build internal tools, frameworks, and playbooks to strengthen strategic thinking and change execution capability.
  • Mentor and coach senior leaders to develop high-performing change leadership skills.
