Role Overview ASX is seeking an experienced Transformation Lead to uplift delivery capability and embed modern, iterative ways of working across portfolios, programs, and teams. This role combines hands-on coaching and facilitation with enterprise-level transformation leadership. The Transformation Lead will work closely with General Managers, senior leaders, Senior Project Managers, and delivery practitioners to improve how work is planned, governed, and delivered—while respecting the diverse delivery models operating across ASX. The role focuses on pragmatic improvement, not enforcing a single framework, and is well suited to someone who can operate effectively both in front of stakeholders and behind the scenes enabling others to succeed. Key Responsibilities Delivery Uplift & Iterative Ways of Working Lead the adoption of iterative and incremental delivery approaches, drawing on best practices from Agile, Scrum, Lean, and other delivery methodologies, tailored to the ASX context Support teams in improving planning, prioritisation, feedback loops, and delivery predictability without enforcing prescriptive frameworks Enable teams to continuously reflect, learn, and improve, with a strong focus on outcomes, collaboration, and quality Coaching & Capability Development Coach and mentor delivery practitioners including Scrum Masters, Product Owners, Project Managers, and Delivery leads Provide hands-on coaching to uplift team practices such as events, backlog management, flow, dependency management, and cross-team collaboration Transfer knowledge and build internal capability so teams become increasingly self-sufficient and effective Portfolio & Transformation Leadership Drive transformation initiatives across portfolios and programs, ensuring alignment between strategy, execution, and measurable business outcomes Oversee cohesion across multiple teams working on related initiatives, ensuring shared objectives, transparency, and coordinated delivery Introduce pragmatic delivery practices that work effectively in hybrid and regulated environments Stakeholder Engagement & Change Leadership Partner closely with General Managers, senior leaders, Senior Project Managers, and delivery leadership Act as an advisor, providing insight into delivery health, risks, dependencies, and improvement opportunities Governance, Insight & Continuous Improvement Assess emerging industry trends and delivery best practices and determine their applicability to ASX Collect feedback from teams and stakeholders to continuously improve delivery processes and governance Share insights and recommendations across the organisation to support consistent delivery maturity uplift Skills & Capabilities Delivery Tools & Platforms Proven experience using Jira Cloud and Confluence Cloud as primary delivery and collaboration tools Working knowledge and understanding of Jira Plans (or equivalent portfolio planning tools) to support initiative planning, sequencing, and dependency visibility Ability to design and interpret delivery dashboards and reports, with a strong understanding of data quality and consistency Facilitation, Coaching Capabilities Proven facilitation and coaching capability, able to guide workshops, conversations, and alignment sessions across teams and leadership groups Demonstrated ability to operate as a behind-the-scenes coach, enabling leaders and teams to succeed while retaining ownership Strong listening, observation, and feedback skills, with the ability to influence without formal authority Delivery & Transformation Expertise Proven experience leading delivery uplift and transformation initiatives using iterative and incremental approaches Strong understanding of best practices from Agile, Scrum, Lean, and hybrid delivery models Experience adapting delivery practices pragmatically within enterprise and regulated environments Stakeholder & Leadership Engagement Proven ability to work effectively with General Managers, senior leaders, Senior Project Managers, and delivery leads Strong communication and influencing skills, translating delivery concepts into business-relevant language Confidence operating across organisational boundaries and driving change through trust and credibility Experience & Qualifications 7+ years’ experience leading large-scale projects, transformation initiatives, process improvements, or complex system implementations as a Transformational Coach, Agile Portfolio Lead, Release Train Engineer Hands-on experience applying Lean and iterative delivery approaches across technology, infrastructure, and operational environments Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience) Industry-recognised delivery or Agile certifications desirable, SAFe, Scrum.
