Job Description Job Summary As a Transformation Leader you will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments to uncover opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and increased productivity. This involves collaborating with stakeholders in the plant and across the business, collecting and analyzing performance data, and developing data-driven recommendations for optimization. This leader is also responsible for establishing and maintaining world-class operational standards, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and ensuring technical excellence throughout the organization while incorporating Lean Six Sigma methodologies. This position reports directly to the Plant Manager and will collaborate with the Manufacturing Excellence Program organization to implement best practices and encourage innovation and growth. Key Characteristics This position entails professionalism and independent judgment, and the overall ability to work with employees in all areas of the organization Proven interpersonal and problem-solving abilities Communication skills, both oral and written Knowledge of Operational Excellence and Lean Six Sigma methodologies Change Management Business Acumen Essential Responsibilities Strategic Leadership: Champion significant improvements in manufacturing and supply chain through aligning various transformation projects to ensure year-over-year productivity enhancements align with business growth and adhere to Global Standards. Continuous Improvement: Champion and embed a culture of continuous improvement across all operational functions. Identify and implement methodologies, tools, and best practices to optimize processes, eliminate waste, and enhance efficiency. Process Optimization: Lead cross-functional teams in identifying, analyzing, and redesigning processes to improve performance, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction. Data Analysis & Reporting: Collect, analyze, and interpret operational data to identify trends, pinpoint areas for improvement, and measure the impact of implemented initiatives. Develop and present clear, data-driven reports and recommendations to leadership. Standardization & Best Practices: Develop, implement, and maintain operational standards and best practices to ensure consistency, quality, and efficiency across all global operations. Technical Excellence & Training: Drive technical learning programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of the workforce through Lean Six Sigma. Develop and implement programs to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime. Quality Initiatives: Lead global quality initiatives, ensuring adherence to quality standards and driving continuous improvement in product and service quality. Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with various departments and stakeholders to understand operational challenges, align on improvement goals, and ensure successful implementation of initiatives. Change Management: Facilitate change management activities related to process improvements, ensuring smooth transitions and adoption by employees to create adaptability and organizational agility. Qualifications Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university or aligned degree. Minimum of 7 years of professional work experience in manufacturing or engineering management Demonstrated leadership of capital / continuous improvement projects focused on meeting corporate and departmental goals Strong data analysis skills Effective at developing and managing a project plan to achieve desired results Proven ability to achieve required objectives through the leadership of others Detail-oriented, highly organized, self-directed, and capable of interacting and communicating with all levels within the organization Ability to multitask and lead / prioritize multiple projects Strong communication skills, both oral and written Desired Qualification/Requirements: Lean Six Sigma BB or GB certification Working Conditions Computer system data terminal Production environment utilizing Lean Manufacturing Principle Maximum of 10% Travel Additional Information At Veolia, we realize diverse teams make smarter decisions, deliver better results, and build stronger communities. The range is not an absolute, but a guide, and offers will be based on the individual candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, and market conditions, as well as internal peer equity. Depending upon all the preceding considerations for the final selected individual candidate, the offer may be lower or higher than the stated range $126,000 --$150,000 annually or hourly.
