TRANSFORMATION MANAGER - FIXED TERM

    Te Iho is NZ Post’s ambitious plan to invest in our future parcel network to support NZ e-commerce parcel growth, to be the best partner for online shopping and the best delivery network in New Zealand. Our next site is the Auckland Central Super Depot, based in Roma Road Mt Roskill. The physical site is nearing it’s final stages of installation and moving to the next stage of commissioning and preparing the transition to go-live later in 2025.

KORERO MO TE TURANGA - ABOUT THE ROLE

Are you an expert in driving transformational change? We’re looking for a Transformation Manager to lead the seamless transition of our programme from design through to post go-live handover until January 2026.
This is a hands-on operational delivery role, ensuring our new site transitions smoothly from final construction through commissioning, staff training, and into business-as-usual operations in 2025.
In this role, you will be accountable for ensuring all programme workstreams align in their execution plans, managing quality, governance requirements, and strategic oversight. You’ll facilitate the successful handover of operations while maintaining high standards of execution, governance, and stakeholder collaboration.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and managing the integrated program plan from design through go-live and support phases
  • Manage all program governance including readiness checkpoints, key milestone program checks and quality assurance of all relevant documentation
  • Championing change management and effective communications to ensure engagement across the program and impacted stakeholders
  • Managing stakeholder relationships and fostering a collaborative work environment.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 10+ years’ experience in program/project management, preferably in large-scale logistics, automation, or parcel industry environments
  • Strong leadership skills with proven ability to manage multifunctional teams and stakeholders
  • Expertise in risk management, quality assurance, and business improvement methodologies
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement abilities, ensuring collaboration at all level
