Description

About this job

Transformation Manager (m/f/d) – Shape change with impact.

Does transformation mean more to you than just introducing new methods?

Do you want to empower teams, rethink collaboration, and sustainably embed change? Then join us in shaping the evolution of a complex data infrastructure team into a modern, self-organized product team.

The company / The customer

We are currently seeking a candidate like you to fill the role of Transformation Manager (m/f/d) for our client in Aalen. This is an internationally operating company in the technical industry sector with over 5,000 employees. Exciting tasks and excellent development opportunities await you. Work in an innovative company that is a market leader in its field and personally benefit from its expertise, transparent and open communication culture, excellent work-life balance, and flexible working arrangements.

Your tasks

  • Actively shape, structure, and implement the transformation of a complex data infrastructure team into an empowered product team.
  • Supporting the team in their daily work, further developing working methods and improving processes so that developers can work more effectively in a multi-requirement environment with many dependencies
  • Together with product ownership, development, architecture, leadership and stakeholders, create clarity about goals, roles, priorities, responsibilities and decision-making processes.
  • Introduce changes in a measured, pragmatic and convincing manner, take resistance seriously and sustainably embed new ways of working within the team.
  • Convince stakeholders from production, projects and related organizational units of the need for change and specifically strengthen collaboration with the team.
  • Design and moderate workshops, votes, and communication formats to increase transparency, alignment, and shared responsibility.
  • Critically examine existing structures, identify obstacles, and develop pragmatic solutions that work in the real organizational context.
  • Making the progress of the transformation measurable, communicating successes visibly, and sustainably securing the change over a period of two years.

Required qualifications

  • Studies in the field of business psychology (m/f/d), business informatics (m/f/d), industrial engineering (m/f/d) or comparable
  • A good understanding of software development, product development and agile working methods, as well as the ability to pragmatically strengthen teams in the fundamentals of effective collaboration – especially through transparency, clear prioritization, focus on core requirements, meaningful results with a limited budget and the reduction of single sources.
  • Several years of experience in change management, organizational development, agile transformation, or a comparable role in a larger, complex organization
  • Ideally, knowledge of C# backend development or the willingness and ability to delve sufficiently deeply into technical solution designs and source code-related issues when necessary, in order to develop viable working methods together with the team.
  • Experience in guiding teams through challenging change situations, introducing new ways of working and anchoring them sustainably.
  • Strong communication and persuasion skills, as well as the ability to bring together different stakeholders with their perspectives, interests, and dependencies.
  • Strong implementation skills, initiative and drive – you don't just think in terms of concepts, but take action and bring about concrete change.
  • Resilience, conflict resolution skills and sensitivity, in order to remain capable of acting even in stressful situations, in the face of resistance or in established structures.
  • A pragmatic, solution-oriented work style and the ability to take responsibility and derive effective next steps even without strict guidelines.
  • Excellent German and English skills, as well as the ability to communicate complex information clearly, in a way that is appropriate for the target audience and motivating.
