About the Role: Grade Level (for internal use): 09 S&P Global Corporate The Role: Transformation Specialist, Enterprise Legal Ops Role Overview The Transformation Specialist will support the day-to-day execution and continuous improvement of Legal Operations across the S&P enterprise. This role is responsible for driving process transformation, managing projects, and partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to enhance legal workflows, systems, and service delivery. The ideal candidate brings strong project management discipline, stakeholder engagement skills, and a process-improvement mindset, with the ability to identify inefficiencies and implement scalable, technology-enabled solutions. Key Responsibilities Legal Operations Support Manage and support core Legal Operations workflows, ensuring efficient and consistent execution across the enterprise. Monitor system performance and workflow health (e.g., contract lifecycle management, intake tools, and approval processes). Process Transformation & Optimization Analyze existing legal processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and risks. Design and implement streamlined, scalable solutions leveraging automation and technology. Establish metrics and monitoring frameworks to ensure sustained performance and adoption. Partner with technology teams to implement system enhancements and troubleshoot issues. Ensure solutions are user-centric and aligned with business needs. Implement best practices for legal operations, including documentation, standardization, and governance. Monitor performance metrics and proactively recommend improvements. Support change management efforts to ensure successful adoption of new processes. Qualifications Experience 3–6+ years of experience in Legal Operations, Operations, Project Management, or a related field. Experience working in cross-functional, matrixed environments. Experience with automation tools and workflow design (e.g., Ironclad, Salesforce, or similar platforms) Skills Proven ability to analyze processes and implement improvements. Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills. Experience with legal technology platforms (e.g., CLM systems, workflow tools, Salesforce, or similar).
