Southwest Electric Co. is an electrical services and equipment provider for energy generation companies and a variety of industrial markets. We offer a wide range of services, including engineering and design for custom product development. 3rd Shift: 56 hours /6 days per week.Sundays 9pm-5:30 am Monday- Thursday 7pm - 5:30 am and Fridays 9pm- 5:30 am. Transformer Winder Summary Duties and Responsibilities: Must be able to read and understand the winding data. Performs all necessary work to take data and make calculations for winding all sizes and types of transformer coils. Knowledgeable and experienced in the operation of all coil winding equipment. Demonstrates high level of proficiency in both quality and quantity of coils produced. Read, verify and understand bill of material (BOM) Load raw materials per data and set placement to begin the winding process Brazing and cold-welding processes. Read and understand micrometers from .001 to .075 Requirements Qualifications: Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, and physical. Complete a satisfactory nationwide criminal background check. Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or GED REQUIRED Training in a Technical discipline, trade school or electrical theory education preferred. Military experience a plus. 2 years minimum mechanical experience in an industrial workplace.
