What is the Role? The Transit Partnership Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day relationship of our partners in a market to ensure contract objectives and project goals are met. The ideal candidate is adept at managing complex projects and programs, has delivered client-facing work, and has experience in one or multiple industries: construction, information technology or media sales. The role involves engaging with cross-functional team members — from sales to operations — executive staff, vendors, and external municipal partners. You must possess the ability to promote collaborative decision-making, provide direction, and establish a sense of urgency amongst the project team. We are looking for an excellent communicator who can establish trust, brings a positive attitude to every interaction, is steady under pressure, and works through challenges with resilience and grace. What you will accomplish: Relationship Manager - day-to-day relationship management, in collaboration with the Senior Director, Midwest & West Coast Partnerships Convener - act as the glue between internal cross-functional teams so that we are aligned on communications, held accountable for deliverables, and drive progress forward Strategic Communicator - are comfortable developing and delivering communications at all levels with clarity and precision both written and verbally Project Management - document, report, and drive progress across multiple workstreams simultaneously You're a great fit for this role because: Serves as the primary point of contact for our partners in Chicago and other MidWest markets, leading the day-to-day relationship management, with input/oversight from the Senior Director. The goal being to maintain a partnership where Intersection is the trusted advisor to the partner on advertising and technology innovation. Provides project and contract management activities to ensure Intersection is meeting our contractual obligations and campaign fulfillment goals Prepares and maintains project documents - agendas, status updates, action item log Organizes regular monthly and quarterly meetings involving internal and external leadership Manages advertising creative approvals (if applicable- the scope of this can vary to reviewing questionable material to reviewing every piece of creative submitted) Manages transit authority print production contracts and posting fulfillment (if applicable- some contracts this is not applicable, some it is quarterly programs, some it is a significant production contract on our sales books) Leads delivery of contractual reporting for the contract, including but not limited to: monthly revenue reporting, service desk reports, inventory availability, DBE compliance Works with key internal teams to mitigate risks, troubleshoot unforeseen issues that are brought to our attention by the partners (e.g. operational complications that arise as part of the natural course of business) Works with local Sales Lead or SVP of Market Strategy to bring New Media ideas to the team (with leadership from Head of Production) Supports initial steps of product development with the Transit Authority Supports approval and implementation of long-term sponsorships and deployment of props Supports sales efforts by acquiring data from the partner, gaining buy-in on revenue generating programs, and socializing timely advertising opportunities. Total Compensation: $90,000 - 110,000 Hybrid Work Policy: Our team operates on a hybrid schedule to balance flexibility with face-to-face collaboration. We require all employees to be in the office every Tuesday and Wednesday, with the flexibility to work remotely the remainder of the week.
