Travel: No Job Title: Senior Transition Manager & Delivery Manager Organization: NTT DATA Business Solutions Customer: Large Enterprise Client Role Overview: The Senior Transition Manager cum Delivery Manager will lead end-to-end transition and delivery activities for a large enterprise customer, ensuring seamless migration of services (AMS, Consulting, Projects etc..), operational excellence, and adherence to contractual commitments. This role combines strategic transition planning with hands-on delivery management, requiring strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and deep understanding of SAP and enterprise IT landscapes. Key Responsibilities: Transition Management: • Planning & Governance: o Develop and execute detailed transition plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies. o Establish governance frameworks and ensure compliance with contractual obligations. • Stakeholder Engagement: o Act as the primary point of contact for transition-related activities with the customer and internal teams. o Conduct regular steering committee meetings and provide transparent status reporting. • Knowledge Transfer & Documentation: o Drive structured knowledge transfer from incumbent teams to NTT DATA Business Solutions teams. o Ensure all documentation (processes, SOPs, SLAs) is complete and validated. • Risk & Issue Management: o Identify potential risks early and implement mitigation plans. o Manage escalations effectively to maintain customer confidence. Delivery Management: • Service Delivery Oversight: o Ensure high-quality delivery of SAP and related IT services post-transition. o Monitor KPIs, SLAs, and operational performance metrics. • Team Leadership: o Lead cross-functional teams including SAP consultants, technical experts, and support staff. o Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. • Financial & Contractual Management: o Manage budgets, forecasts, and cost optimization initiatives. o Ensure compliance with contractual terms and drive profitability. • Customer Relationship Management: o Build strong relationships with customer leadership and act as a trusted advisor. o Identify opportunities for service improvement and additional value creation. Required Skills & Experience: • Experience: o 12+ years in IT service delivery and transition management, preferably in SAP environments. o Proven track record of managing large-scale transitions for enterprise customers. • Leadership & Communication: o Exceptional stakeholder management and negotiation skills. o Ability to lead large teams and manage complex, multi-vendor environments. • Certifications (Preferred): o PMP or PRINCE2 o ITIL Foundation o SAP-related certifications Get empowered by NTT DATA Business Solutions!
