Requirements:

• Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
• New Jersey Certificate with Psychologist, LDT/C, Social Worker, Speech/Language Therapist or Teacher of the Handicapped endorsement.
• Minimum of one year experience in career related activities for classified secondary students.
• Ability to work effectively with staff, parents, students and community agencies to maintain and strengthen transitional services.
• Demonstrate knowledge of compliance issues as they relate to development of students’ Individualized Transition Plan.
• Demonstrated ability to work harmoniously in a multicultural, diverse community.

Qualified candidates must have strong collaborative planning and performance assessment skills and a commitment to multicultural education; must be knowledgeable in a variety of teaching strategies; and demonstrate an ability to work harmoniously with diverse populations.
