   JOB DESCRIPTIONUK Transition Manager - Sourcing UK Sourcing   •   UK Sourcing Director   •   UKJOB PURPOSEThe Transition Manager is a key role responsible for transition and implementation of all vendor/sku resource initiatives with the overriding priority to ensure supply continuity and generate Buy Sell margin and EBITDA growth.  This role will lead a small team of transition planners with project management and collaboration skill, with high levels of drive and determination to ensure the UK P&L recognises EBITDA growth.    This is a key role that requires strong commercial experience with the ability to project manage and multiple departments accountable for delivering their tasks within the projects.DIMENSIONSOptimas is a global distributor of integrated supply chain solutions, and engineering support focused on delivering fasteners, components, industrial and safety supplies to our diverse customers around the world. Its remit spans Sourcing, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain and Customer Service, ensuring the UK is well-positioned to achieve budgetary targets.  This will require hands-on follow-up at a part number level and support where needed.
