About the opportunity The Early Careers Program is a flagship workforce initiative inspired by the Mental Health Royal Commission, aimed at attracting and developing qualified staff working in the health care industry currently. The Mercy Mental Health Program offers a supportive and collaborative environment, where you’ll join a dedicated multidisciplinary team committed to recovery-oriented care. This 12-month fixed term position provides an exceptional chance for experienced Enrolled Nurses to deepen their mental health exposure and expertise through structured clinical placements across inpatient and community settings. You will work alongside specialised mental health nurses, receiving comprehensive education, supervision, and hands-on experience to build your confidence and skills. The program provides Enrolled Nurses an opportunity to advance their mental health nursing knowledge and consolidate their skills. This role incorporates a high level of physical health assessment and intervention along with mental health assessment. This role works with a diverse multi-disciplinary team which requires you to provide highly responsive and flexible service to consumers and carers”. You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining: Current Registration with AHPRA Med Endorsement qualification A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
