POLICE VULNERABLE SECTOR CHECK REQUIREMENTS

Successful candidates must have a Police Vulnerable Sector Check completed in the last six months. For candidates who require a request letter in order to apply for a police check, request letters will be provided for candidates who move forward from the interview stage of the recruitment process.

WE REQUIRE THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS:

• Diploma or degree in a health, social service or a related discipline (primary proof of credentials will be required during the hiring process i.e. original degree/diploma or official transcript)
• Valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle with at least 2 million in liability insurance to transport clients occasionally
• Ability to attend work regularly

WE PREFER THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS:

• Knowledge of serious mental illness and addiction and its impact on individuals
• Experience working with individuals with a serious mental illness and/or addiction
• Excellent knowledge of community resources in London-Middlesex
• Basic computer skills
• First Aid & CPR, ASIST, and CPI certification
