Make a Real Difference in the Lives of Individuals Experiencing Homelessness
Are you a compassionate, driven, and skilled Case Manager with a deep commitment to social justice and supporting men through complex life transitions?
The Salvation Army invites you to be part of a life-changing mission through our Flagstaff and The Open Door residential services – offering short-term accommodation and holistic support for single men experiencing homelessness and facing multiple, complex challenges.
About You
We’re looking for someone with a strong sense of purpose and experience in the social services sector — a confident practitioner who leads with empathy and believes in people’s ability to change and grow.
About the Role
As a Transitional Housing Case Manager, you’ll be a vital part of a collaborative team working to empower men on their journey toward long-term, dignified housing. You’ll walk alongside each individual, offering consistent, trauma-informed, person-centred support that builds resilience, independence, and hope.
You’ll support residents through individualised case management and outreach, ensuring a warm and coordinated transition from crisis accommodation to sustainable housing options. Your work will be grounded in compassion, respect, and cultural sensitivity — ensuring every man is seen, heard, and valued.
Reporting to the Residential Case Management Services Team Leader, this is a permanent full-time position, based in Flagstaff In West Melbourne and The Open Door in North Melbourne, VIC.
Compensation is in accordance with SCHADS Award Level 5.
