Job Summary
Coppersmith Recruitment and Services Inc. is seeking a Transitional Kindergarten Teacher on behalf of our client. Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned lessons based on Common Core and early childhood education frameworks
  • Develop curriculum pacing guides, assessments, and measurable learning objectives
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students
  • Manage classroom behavior using positive, research-based strategies
  • Track and analyze student data to guide instruction and monitor progress
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment
  • Communicate regularly with families to support student growth

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Valid California Multiple Subjects or PK–3 credential (or eligibility via STSP/PIP)
  • 24 units in Early Childhood Education/Child Development or equivalent professional experience
  • Child Development Teacher Permit issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing
  • English Learner Authorization (EL/SDAIE)
  • Previous experience in urban education preferred
  • Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred
