The Role We currently have 2 openings for some translation work on a project in the Higher Education business sector. We are seeking a detail-oriented professional fluent in both English and Chinese to ensure accuracy and consistency between English and Chinese versions of documents. Your role will involve translating short texts or reviewing and verifying translations to confirm they match in meaning, tone and nuance. Essential Requirements: Native-level fluency in Chinese and excellent communication skills in English Strong attention to detail and ability to spot discrepancies. Flexibility to handle documents provided at relatively short notice. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Desired Requirements Familiarity with language used in a legal setting Familiarity with science subjects – particularly Engineering or Earth Sciences, or relevant Familiarity with Social Media in China
