Description

Growing National firm looking to add a talented Senior Transmission Engineer to their Columbus team! Responsibilities: Responsible for project management duties including design, modeling, development, and drawing of a transmission line structure or system Provide technical oversight including managing the quality control process, analyzing data to find discrepancies and identify solutions Assist with business development Mentor/train junior staff Administrative duties including developing/communicating/tracking workflows, scheduling, ensuring projects meeting quality standards and project documents are consistent with project plans and within scope/budget Requirements: B.S. Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering Master’s degree in engineering a plus 7+ years of engineering design experience in high voltage transmission/distribution line engineering (12kV to 345Kv) 3+ years of managing transmission line projects preferred Extensive knowledge of transmission steel structure design/analysis (substation preferred) Knowledge of applicable safety codes, utility standards and regulations (NESC, ASCE, IEEE) Knowledge of PLS-CADD preferred Knowledge of standard engineering design principals Salary is commensurate with experience.
