Transparency Reporting and Data Subject Request (DSR) Analyst – Compliance & Privacy Office
The Transparency Reporting and DSR Analyst will be responsible for ensuring compliance with the US Sunshine Act reporting, other relevant transparency regulations, and for managing the DSR process at Align globally. This role involves collecting, analyzing, responding to, or reporting to stay compliant with our internal processes.

Responsibilities

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL…

  • Collect and Manage Data: Lead internal data collection efforts, review transfers of value for completeness and accuracy, work with stakeholders to append data, obtain report approval from leadership, prepare and submit the approved report in compliance with US Federal and State transparency requirements.
  • Monitoring: Monitor for Federal and State transparency-related limits, caps, and restrictions and work with the US Legal and Compliance teams to incorporate new regulatory requirements into our internal process.
  • Remediation: Research, work with stakeholders to obtain additional information, and respond to disputes submitted by healthcare professionals through the Open Payments dispute resolution portal.
  • Reporting: Submit transfers of value to Federal agency (CMS) and State agencies as needed.
  • Audit Support: Compile and understand the data to be able to answer questions regarding data collected and reported. Prepare other communications and materials for presentations as needed.
  • Training and Education: Prepare and provide training and support to internal teams on Sunshine Act Requirements and reporting processes.
  • Information Extraction: Undertake DSR information extraction and any necessary redactions.
  • DSR Process: Manage the Align DSR internal processes, server as an escalation point for DSR and personal information related queries in adherence with regulatory guidelines and expectations. Ensure Align’s approach to DSRs (e.g. subject access requests; data erasure or rectification requests) and queries from data subjects are applied correctly as described in our internal DSR processes.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain effective record-keeping for all customer contacts to comply with regulatory DSR requirements.
  • Other work as assigned.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU’LL NEED …

Some of the following – either classes or other exposure to:

  • BA/BS or a Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 1+ year of professional experience, preferred in data entry, coordination, data review, or similar fields
  • Professional excel and .csv skills preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to stay organized and set and meet tight deadlines while managing multiple priorities
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to problem solve, work independently, and in a team environment.
  • Ability to gain trust as well as build and maintain productive relationships with leaders and multiple stakeholders within and across the business
  • High integrity, judgement, fairness, compliance, and ethics in all dealings
  • Highly accountable, customer focused and agile
  • Preferred:

o Experience working in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of ambiguity
o Working understanding of global healthcare compliance rules, regulations, and industry standards
