Position: Transport Administrative Assistant
Location: Peterborough - PE2 6EX
Shift patterns: Monday- Friday. Day time hours.
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a detail-oriented and organised Transport Administrative Assistant to support our Finished Vehicle Solutions Transport operations team. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our logistics processes.

Responsibilities

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:

  • Supporting operational execution of the transport plan, answering driver calls and queries in an efficient and timely manner, completing administrative tasks such as time sheet processing and uniform ordering and tracking.
  • Daily communication with drivers, customers, and vendors to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders and customers
  • Assist in the coordination of transport activities, schedules, driver Kronos timecard distribution and processing
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to transport operations.
  • Prepare and process transport-related paperwork, including invoices and reports.
  • Assist in resolving any transport-related issues or inquiries
