JOB SUMMARY:

We’re seeking a proactive and experienced Transport Administrator to join our logistics team. This role is key to ensuring smooth daily operations, from route planning and driver coordination to vehicle compliance and maintenance.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a transport office environment.
  • Minimum 1 year driving experience
  • Strong knowledge of route planning
  • Understanding of vehicle compliance & regulations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Must be able to work Saturdays
Responsibilities
  • Plan and coordinate daily transport routes for optimal efficiency
  • Ensure all vehicles meet regulatory compliance standards
  • Liaise with drivers during their morning departures from the depot
  • Provide driver cover when required
  • Oversee & monitor general vehicle maintenance including service reports
  • Respond to driver queries and resolve delivery-related issues
  • Support varied shift operations and adapt to changing schedules
  • Assist with general administrative tasks and documentation
