Job Title: Transport Administrator
Location: Redditch B98
Salary: Up to £28,000
Working Hours: Monday–Friday, typically 13:00–22:00 (flexibility required)
Benefits: 20 days holiday + bank holidays, pension scheme

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Previous experience in a transport or logistics environment is desirable.
  • Strong organisational skills with great attention to detail.
  • Confident IT user – particularly with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and respond effectively to changing demands.
  • A sound understanding of UK geography is advantageous.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re currently recruiting for a Transport Administrator to join a busy and dynamic logistics operation. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in transport or logistics administration who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about customer service and operational excellence.
In this role, you’ll be the central link between customers, drivers, and internal teams—ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations and the consistent delivery of high service standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Communicate with customers, drivers, and partners using various platforms.
  • Handle and resolve customer queries and complaints professionally and promptly.
  • Support compliance tasks and contribute to the delivery of operational KPIs.
  • Carry out daily driver and vehicle checks.
  • Monitor delivery performance and PDA compliance.
  • Assist with planning cover during periods of absence or leave.
  • Generate reports and escalate any service issues through the appropriate channels.
  • Champion health and safety standards on site.
