As an expanding online manufacturer of architectural mouldings, we have a fast paced, office vacancy available, working within the timber and transport industry. You will be the first member of a small team we anticipate building which and will be responsible for the planning and processing of orders for delivery via 3rd party courier partners. This is a fantastic opportunity giving the successful candidate real responsibility and influence in improving and shaping the office department moving forward.
Therefore, we are searching for a bright, ambitious individual with a sense of humour, who is committed to embracing real responsibility, and developing their skill base, knowledge and proficiency within an office environment.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Co-ordination of in-house deliveries across the UK using database involving;
Planning concise delivery routes to maximise payload and route efficiency.
Engaging with customers in the arranging of delivery dates via phone/email/text.
Liaising with courier partners via phone and email.
Analysing delivery data and costs.
Engaging with office systems for further development.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Answering inbound phone calls and emails.
Processing orders, payments and associated data.
Creating and sending quotes to customers.
Dealing with customer issues as they arise, enacting customer service in line with company policies, with the support of management.
Liaising and co-ordinating with office, factory and driver colleagues to deliver solutions.
Engaging with marketing activities.
