Are you an Administrator looking for an environment that will help

so, we are looking for a Transport Clerck to work nights, at our site in
Widnes, working on behalf of Tesco. This is an excellent opportunity, with
the option to progress within the company and further your career.
Pay, benefits and more:
We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £22,902 per annum. You will be
working a 4 on 4 off night shift pattern 1900- 0700, 20 days holiday
(inclusive of bank holidays). You’ll have access to a variety of high

and many other perks. Overtime is available, often and paid at an enhanced
rate.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • To cost effectively dispatch

routes to achieve contractual delivery times, conducting remedial

planning to effectively manage live changes to the plan.

  • To ensure all administrative

traffic duties are carried out as necessary and to a high level of

accuracy and professionalism

  • To ensure that details of

vehicle accidents are escalated to line management

  • To ensure that defected

vehicles are recorded on traffic sheets

  • To ensure that the procedure

for damaged deliveries is followed where necessary

  • To use all IT based systems in

the effective delivery of their role

  • Ensures that appropriate

communication methods are used to provide information to both
internal and external customers as required e.g. debrief of drivers,

dealing with customer issues etc.

  • To ensure that all traffic

planning activity is undertaken in line with legislative requirements

  • To ensure compliance with

Company Health & Safety requirements highlighting any concerns to

line management

  • Conduct relevant QHSE

activities: Care Cards, Bsafe, Safety Conversations etc

  • To identify and highlight to

management any potential improvement opportunities

  • To demonstrate the Company

Values in the undertaking of their role

  • To undertake any other

reasonable task as required.

  • To always display the highest

standards of customer service.

training events in line with own personal development needs and business
requirements

What you need to succeed at XPO:

  • Previous administration experience ideally within a logistics

environment

  • A can-do attitude
  • A strong user of Microsoft Office Suite
