SUMMARY

As a Transportation Coordinator at EFW Transport, based in the UK, you will play a pivotal role in managing our transportation operations. This position is crucial for ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods, contributing directly to our mission of excellence in logistics.

• Oversee daily transportation operations to ensure timely deliveries.
• Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PL).
• Implement and optimize transportation management systems for efficiency.
• Coordinate shipping and receiving processes to streamline operations.
• Monitor supply chain activities to enhance overall performance.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives within the transportation department.
• Analyze profit and loss reports to improve operational efficiency.
• Qualifications
• Proven experience in transportation management or logistics.
• Strong knowledge of transportation management systems.
• Familiarity with supply chain processes.
• Experience with TMS systems is preferred.
• Supervisory experience in a logistics environment is preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail (nice-to-have).
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems is a plus (nice-to-have).
• Understanding of process improvement methodologies is beneficial.
