Job Title: Transport Coordinator
Location: Units 9/10 Vantage Business Park, Tinsley, S9 1BG
Pay: £12.21 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 08:00am – 4:30pm (30 minutes unpaid lunch)

Role Overview
We’re seeking a proactive Transport Coordinator to support our Transport Manager and European Contracts Manager. You’ll be responsible for planning driver schedules, ensuring compliance documentation is accurate, and helping to manage both UK and international shipments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Driver & Run Coordination – Plan and compile driver runs based on collection requests, ensuring efficient routing.
  • ADR Compliance – Ensure all driver paperwork is accurate and compliant with DG/ADR regulations.
  • Documentation & Records – Keep organised transport and compliance records.
  • International Shipments – Coordinate bookings with hauliers and couriers for European contracts.
  • Customer Service – Handle client queries with professionalism and accuracy.
  • Invoicing & Quotes – Support accurate invoicing and prepare customer quotations.
  • Data Reporting – Collect logistics data for reporting and performance tracking.

Requirements

  • Strong IT and communication skills
  • Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail
  • Minimum 1 year in administration, logistics, or customer service
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths & English (C or above)

Experience:

  • Transport software systems: 1 year (preferred)
  • Business Admin: 1 year (preferred
