Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE

  • Previous transport/fleet/logistics experience
  • Effective time management and attention to detail
  • Troubleshooting, diagnostic and preventative maintenance skills
  • Previous experience in processing and payment of invoices
  • Strong Excel skills and an analytical mindset
  • Transport Scheduling software experience (TMS) highly regarded

Based at our Beresfield Branch, the Transport Coordinator is responsible for arranging the safest, most cost-effective and efficient transport of equipment for the Coates Business. This can be for interstate, intrastate or customer requirements.

  • Source transport services for delivery and pickup of equipment for Coates branches.
  • Schedule daily deliveries in Coates’ transport management software using both Coates’ drivers and contractor drivers
  • Liaise with Fleet and Operations departments to ensure timely delivery and pickup of equipment.
  • Ensure Purchase orders are raised and completed within the given month.
  • Analyse activity and suggest improvement opportunities.
  • Ensuring the safety of your team and Coates’ customers
