ABOUT US

Established in 2014 Direct Connect Logistics Ltd operates 7.5 tonne and 18 tonne lorries from its bases in Bicester and Northampton.
We are a small team and operate the company like a family business.
Due to expansion, Direct Connect Logistics are looking for an additional Transport Coordinator at our Bicester site.
Working as part of a team, this role is vital within the company and involves bidding on potential jobs. The successful candidate would also be responsible for co-ordinating and managing our team of drivers to ensure each job is fulfilled, ensuring customer satisfaction.

The suitable candidate will have:

  • Excellent Organisational skills
  • Good numerical skills
  • Good communication skills dealing with customers and drivers
  • Be driven and focused
  • Be willing to work as part of a team
  • Good computer skills
  • Ability to work independently on projects within the company
  • Ability to work under pressure

The following skills would be desirable:

  • Geographical Knowledge
  • Understanding of driver legislation
  • Understanding of the transport industry
