Responsibilities
  • Planning, organizing, and overseeing the efficient movement of goods
  • Collaboration with carriers and other logistics operators to ensure smooth operations
  • Maintaining effective communication with all stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and internal teams
  • Daily alignment with transport management centre for in- and outbounds (truck&container)
  • Daily time-slot definition, alignment with inbound department
  • Claim management, documentation and reporting
  • Addressing and resolving any transportation-related issues
  • Management of related KPIs, collection and analytics of relevant data
  • Participation in process-improvement projects to identify opportunities and reduce expenses
  • Monitoring costs and verification of service fulfilment invoices
  • Taking part is tenders, carrier selection- and evaluation procedures
  • Yard-management coordination related to Distribution Center (single point of contact for YM-system
