Responsibilities:
- Gathering, interpreting and evaluating end-to-end supply chain performance data across procurement, warehousing and trade-lane operations to identify inefficiencies, cost drivers, service gaps and performance variances impacting customer outcomes and margin performance.
- Conducting detailed inventory flow and shipment volume analysis by examining stock movements, turnover trends, demand variability, shipment frequency and reconciliation data to support optimal stock availability, minimise excess or obsolete inventory, and improve working capital efficiency.
- Developing structured analytical reports, KPI dashboards and performance packs providing visibility into procurement, carrier reliability, milestone adherence, warehouse throughput, transport lead times and cost per shipment/TEU to support executive decision-making. Analysing and mapping end-to-end logistics workflows (booking, documentation, milestone capture, EDI reporting, billing and carrier coordination) to identify process bottlenecks, data integrity gaps and system inefficiencies, recommending redesigned procedures to enhance throughput and resource utilisation.
- Performing variance and root-cause analysis on service disruptions, supplier reliability issues, transportation delays, invoice discrepancies and demand fluctuations, contributing to risk mitigation strategies and contingency planning across key trade lanes.
- Formulating evidence-based recommendations to streamline cross-functional coordination between procurement, warehouse, distribution, billing and overseas agents, improving supply chain responsiveness and service consistency.
- Supporting implementation of approved process and system enhancements by coordinating structured handovers, standardising transition checklists, updating SOPs and data maps, and ensuring effective adoption of redesigned workflows.
- Monitoring post-implementation performance through continuous KPI tracking, control plans and variance analysis to ensure sustainable operational gains, improved data accuracy and measurable service-level uplift.
- Validating vendor invoices and analysed freight cost structures in collaboration with finance teams to strengthen financial controls, reduce cost leakage and improve margin visibility across trade lanes.
- Developing and maintaining structured data maps documenting system dependencies, information flows and reporting frameworks to enhance transparency, governance and alignment across operational and commercial functions.
