We are looking for a Transport Coordinator. The position, based in Piacenza, is open to people of all genders (Law 903/77).

Responsibilities:
- Cooperation and communication with freight forwarders, customer service and warehouse admin team
- Apply appropriate processes
- Ensure and foster efficient communication with customer service and warehouse team
- Make appointments for loading and delivery slots and update all necessary files
- Coordination of incoming and outgoing shipments, taking into account internal operational processes
- Preparation of all appropriate documents
- Monitoring and ensuring on time delivery
- Planning deliveries from the company’s own trucks
- Invoice check on the request
- Shipment tracking for customer service
- Creation of pick-up orders
- Complaint management
- TMS Country users / 1st level analysis (incl. carrier implementation process)
- Creation and analysis of internal statistics on key figures relevant to departments
- Perform in collaboration with Transportation Manager to enhance shipping structure
- Advise Transportation Manager and Supervisor of all transportation related issues
- Continuous Improvement
- contribute ideas from local market / specific DC situation
- Support rollout of Europe wide projects/processes
- Drive improvement
