• To cost effectively dispatch routes to achieve contractual delivery times, conducting remedial planning to effectively manage live changes to the plan.
• To ensure all administrative traffic duties are carried out as necessary and to a high level of accuracy and professionalism
• To liaise with line management to ensure the effective use of hire vehicles / sub contractors minimising the cost impact to the business
• To ensure that details of vehicle accidents are escalated to line management
• To ensure that defected vehicles are recorded on traffic sheets
