Description
The Transporter/Courier transports patients, equipment, supplies and other items throughout the hospital in a safe and timely manner. Assists in the mobilization/transports of patient's/visitors in reaching destination through the hospital and upon discharge. Follows all patient / visitor protocols. Ensures that requests for information and services are accurately responded to, in a timely and appropriate manner, sensitive to the circumstances of the patient's/guest's emotional situation and privacy needs. Ensures cleanliness of patient equipment.
Responsibilities
The Transporter/Courier is responsible for transporting patients, equipment, supplies, and other items throughout the hospital safely and timely. They assist in mobilizing and transporting patients and visitors to their destinations within the hospital.
