Transport Operations Management Oversee daily employee transportation operations (pickups & drops) or goods movement. Create, monitor, and optimize routes to reduce travel time and fuel consumption. Ensure timely availability of vehicles as per operational requirements. Track vehicle movements through GPS and maintain MIS reports. Coordinate with drivers, supervisors, and external vendors for smooth operations. Vendor & Driver Coordination Manage transport vendors, ensure SLAs are met, and handle escalation issues. Verify and maintain driver duty rosters, attendance, and shift schedules. Ensure drivers comply with company policies, safety norms, and behavior standards. Compliance & Safety Ensure all vehicles have valid permits, insurance, fitness certificates, and pollution certificates. Conduct periodic audits of vehicles and drivers. Implement and monitor safety protocols such as seat belt compliance, speed limits, and emergency procedures. Strong communication and coordination skills Ability to manage drivers and vendors effectively Knowledge of route planning and GPS tracking systems Proficiency in MS Excel, MIS reporting, and transport management software Problem‑solving and quick decision‑making skills Education: Graduate in any discipline (Logistics/Transport specialization preferred) Experience: 2–5 years in transport operations, fleet management, or logistics Good understanding of statutory compliance for commercial vehicles Location: On-site –Hyderabad, TS Scheduled Weekly Hours: 48 If this job description resonates with you, we encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet all of the requirements.
