Job Description
Rotork Controls Limited, Bath, is seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to take the lead as the Factory Contracts & Shipping Team Leader. Reporting to the Contracts and Logistics Manager, this role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient, smooth, and cost-effective operation of our shipping department. The successful candidate will manage all shipments out of the plant and imports into the plant.
The role involves ensuring Health and Safety compliance, assisting the Contracts and Logistics Manager with team performance, and supervising the shipping and contracts teams for efficient and timely operations. You will ensure data accuracy in the business system (D365), coordinate with departments, customers, and agents for optimal shipping, train personnel, introduce new systems, maintain departmental PCB, and collate KPI data.
This role is critical to the success of our operations, and we are looking for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of leading a team to achieve outstanding results. Qualifications

Essential:

• Solid experience in a shipping environment
• Knowledge of international business practices
• Experience leading a team.
• An understanding Incoterms and their implications
• An Understanding of export controls of the transport of hazardous goods
• I.T skills – Microsoft Office
• Good Communication skills
