Due to a continued workload operating over 3 depots (Hull, Leeds & Sheffield) we are looking to recruit a Transport Manager.
This position is responsible for the overall management of all Transport at Burflex.
We have our own fleet of vehicles, dispatching a high volume of materials to numerous destinations on a daily basis.
Duties will include but not be limited to, day to day management of all fleet vehicles, health and safety and company operating standards, assisting the wider Management Team to achieve company objectives.

The Transport Manager must have strong managerial skills and be familiar in delivering strategy and managing policies in addition to:

• Working within a team environment as you will be required to lead staff meetings and training sessions. It is essential that you hold a current international CPC qualification, as well as a driving license.
• Responsible for the planning of all HGV’s, Company Van’s, Cars to keep all vehicles fully compliant and operational
• Work closely with the drivers, planning, to co-ordinate the transport operation.
• Collate Digital Tachographs/ Drivers card info - Manage any discrepancies as required
• Booking of vehicle maintenance and inspections.
• Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar environment.
• Good Knowledge of products and processes
• Good communication skills
• Must possess a positive can-do attitude.
• Must have the ability to work without supervision in a multi-functional team.
• Must be prepared to undertake all reasonable requests as determined by the business’s needs

Experience:
