YOUR ROLE
Our operation based in Redditch is looking for a results driven Transport Manager to join the team. In this key role, you will be responsible for ensuring that the transport function is managed efficiently and effectively, consistently meeting and exceeding the expectations of both our customers and CEVA.
This is a Monday – Friday role, 40 hours a week.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for leading a dedicated team of Transport Planners, Operators, and Administrators. You will play a key role in developing and mentoring your team, fostering their professional growth through effective coaching, targeted training, and regular performance feedback. Additionally, you will oversee a geographically dispersed team of Van and HGV drivers across the UK, making travel to various sites an essential aspect of the role.
You will promote a culture of health and safety, ensure all legal requirements and compliance standards are met, and that best practices are followed throughout the operation.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the operation, ensuring full legal compliance and the delivery of a cost-effective, service-focused approach. Additionally, you will ensure that all commercial and financial targets are met and consistently sustained.
