JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Transport Manager to oversee our logistics and supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a solid understanding of transport management systems. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient movement of goods while maintaining high standards of customer service.
Our fleet consists of 10 x rigid vehicles (Flat & Curtain), of all different sizes to accommodate varying work requirements with a current focus on expanding the fleet further to obtain new business.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience in transport management or a related field within logistics or supply chain.
• Hold a valid and up to date CPC which the company will be registered to the company.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise with various stakeholders.
• Proficient in IT applications, including Microsoft Excel, with a strong emphasis on computer literacy.
• A customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
• Ability to drive operational improvements through innovative thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  Salary for the right candidate will include an additional performance based bonus.
  Hours are generally Mon - Fri, but as the Transport Manager and overall in charge of this division, you will be responsible for working hours to meet the demand of the job to support the customers and drivers.
