OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Transport Manager to oversee our logistics operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in management and a passion for optimising supply chain processes. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient transportation of goods while maintaining high standards of customer service. The Transport Manager will lead a team, coordinate logistics, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

EXPERIENCE

• Proven experience in management within the transport or logistics sector is essential.
• Strong understanding of supply chain management principles and practices.
• Excellent driving skills with a valid driving licence; experience operating commercial vehicles is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is required; familiarity with IT systems related to logistics is a plus.
• Exceptional communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a focus on team development and performance improvement.
