We are seeking a Transport Manager to join our dynamic team in Ullo, Pest country, in Hungary. As aTransport Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the facilities and the Transporttion operations. Responsibilities Ensure the everyday operations of the facilities in Hungary are running smoothly Manage any issue that may occur during transportation (eg. Closed roads, mechanical problem of trucks or trailers) Activelly involve in costing and feasibility of transportation operations based on company standard models and local conditions Manage labour and accounting issues Seek for new subcontractors and prepare the contracts Supervise all third-party contractors and evaluate them on annual basis Train the new drivers and subcontractors on the procedures of the transport work, elaborate especially on safety rules and their behavior towards customers Daily update of the contracts that accompany the drivers, trucks and trailers (license, green cards, food certificates, technotest etc) Plan and reschedule of the routes according to company’s culture aiming always at final customers’ satisfaction Communicate with all subcontractors for updating the delivery state and updating of the colleagues on the state Develop and record all procedures in the company’s quality system Collaborate with fleet maintenance department in Thessaloniki for possible problems and new trucks that are integrated in the fleet Participate in projects assigned by the Upper Management Advanced business writing and oral skills in English Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) Very good knowledge of statistics and data management Good Knowledge of transportation laws in international level To qualify for the role, you must have A degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field will consider a plus Proven experience in Transportation, Road Freight Operations, Logistics or similar role Competitive remuneration package.
