Transport Manager

Location: Selby area

Salary: £45,000 to £55,000 DOE

Job Type: Full time, Permanent

We are looking for an experienced Transport Manager to join a growing transport business at an exciting stage of its development.

The business is investing heavily in its fleet and has a clear commercial growth plan in place. This is a key appointment for the business and, for the right person, offers genuine long term career development and the opportunity to make a real impact across the transport operation.

This role would suit someone who is confident managing people, vehicles, planning, compliance and day to day transport issues, while also maintaining excellent service levels for customers.

We are looking for a Transport Manager who is hands on, commercially aware and customer focused. You will need to be comfortable dealing with drivers, customers, suppliers and internal teams, making sure the operation runs smoothly and any issues are dealt with quickly and professionally.

Experience within a fast paced, compliance focused transport environment would be beneficial, but the main priority is finding someone with strong transport management experience, good compliance knowledge and the ability to lead a busy operation properly.

This role would suit candidates based in Selby, York, Doncaster, Pontefract, Castleford, Wakefield, Hull or the surrounding areas.
