OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Transport Manager to oversee our transportation operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and organisational skills, ensuring the efficient movement of goods while maintaining high standards of customer service. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of logistics and supply chain management, alongside proficiency in various IT applications.

EXPERIENCE

• Proven experience in a management role within the transport or logistics industry.
• Strong understanding of supply chain principles and practices.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a focus on team development and motivation.
• Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• A valid driving licence is preferred but not essential; however, familiarity with driving regulations is advantageous.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards within the transport sector.
• Monitor vehicle maintenance schedules and manage fleet performance to maximise efficiency.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve overall service delivery.
