Job Description Purpose To ensure the smooth-running of the plant and transport department, ensuring that health & safety and environmental concerns are prioritised in accordance with company policy. Specific Responsibilities Monitoring and scheduling MOT, 6-weekly inspections and servicing for all vehicles. Maintaining and updating the internal database, MID database and the insurance broker. Updating and maintaining the vehicle allocation sheet, mileage, files for driver hours log books and driver defect books. Coordinating and prioritising repairs with fitters. Ensuring all certifications are in date, and that all plant is issued to site with relevant paperwork / certificates. Liaising with external suppliers.
