Responsibilities

As the Transport Manager at United Minibuses and Coaches, your primary responsibility will be to oversee and enhance the efficiency, safety, and compliance of our transportation services. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Strategic Fleet Management: Design and execute robust routing strategies to optimize fleet efficiency and performance. Monitor and analyze transportation logistics to ensure targets and budgets are met.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all operations adhere to local and national regulations concerning transportation, including vehicle safety, emissions, and driver regulations. Stay updated with industry changes and integrate best practices into our operations.
  • Driver Oversight: Lead a team of professional drivers, managing all aspects of recruitment, training, and performance evaluations. Implement continuous development programs to elevate driver skills in safety, customer service, and efficiency.
  • Operational Efficiency: Conduct thorough assessments of operational practices, aiming to enhance productivity and reduce costs without compromising on service quality.
  • Safety Protocols: Develop and enforce stringent safety guidelines and create a culture of safety that permeates all levels of our operations.
