Transport Manager - Key Responsibilities Fleet Management: Supervise daily operations of school buses and other transport vehicles. Route Planning: Design and optimize bus routes for timely and safe pick-up/drop-off Safety Compliance: Ensure all vehicles meet safety standards and are regularly inspected. Maintenance Oversight: Schedule and track vehicle servicing, repairs, and cleanliness. Budgeting & Cost Control: Monitor fuel usage, maintenance costs, and suggest cost-saving measures. Record Keeping: Maintain logs for vehicle usage, driver attendance, fuel consumption, and incidents. Emergency Handling: Coordinate response plans for breakdowns, accidents, or delays. Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with parents, staff, and vendors regarding transport-related concerns Skills, Qualifications and Experience Bachelor’s degree Minimum 3–5 years of experience in transport operations, preferably in an educational setting Strong organizational and leadership skills Well-Acquainted with the Hyderabad Road Maps. Candidate living in Hyderabad will be given Preference.
