OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Transport Office Administrator to join our client a major distribution organisation. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by managing clerical tasks, data entry, database management, basic transport planning and providing administrative support. This position requires proficiency in various software applications, including Microsoft word, excel and data base management, as well as excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in an administrative or office support role is preferred.
  • Proficiency in computerised systems, including word, excell, and database management
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills for effective communication with clients and colleagues.
  • Attention to detail is essential for accurate data entry and record keeping.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
