Newhaul Road Logistics is looking for a strategic, hands-on Operations Manager to lead our Geraldton logistics team and drive safe, efficient and cost-effective Road Train transport from pit to port. Salary: competitive pay & performance bonuses What you'll do As Transport Manager, based at our Roads Depot in Geraldton, you'll lead the day-to-day operations of Newhaul's transport division, balancing frontline delivery with strategic planning, optimising systems and processes, and coaching a team of supervisors. You'll work closely across the business to deliver operational excellence, achieve targets, and uphold Newhaul's unwavering commitment to safety and compliance. Your responsibilities Lead & inspire: recruit & coach a team of superintendents and supervisors, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement and high performance Drive performance: oversee daily operations, optimise planning and deliver on time, while managing challenges and analysing performance trends Innovate & optimise: identify efficiencies, champion digitisation and automation, and align operations with strategic business goals Champion safety: embed a safety-first culture and ensure compliance with WHS and transport regulations Engage stakeholders: build strong relationships with customers, suppliers and team About you A confident mentor and leader who thrives in dynamic environments An expert in managing transportation fleets (road trains), permit systems and rosters Safety focused with a strong understanding of fatigue management and promotes wellbeing Technology savvy and adaptable team player Analytical problem solver who drives results with a strategic mindset Exceptional communicator who builds trust and strong stakeholder management What's in it for you?
