ABOUT YOU
The successful candidate will possess the following:
- 5+ years’ experience in a Transport Related role
- Notable experience managing of frontline works desired
- Experience with Transport Management systems
- Knowledge of Container Transport industry
- Strong understanding of Chain of Responsibility
- Strong knowledge of Container Chain and 1-Stop would be advantageous
- Effective planning skills
- Ability to oversee a team to deliver outcomes in line with business requirements and expectations

ABOUT THE ROLE
An exciting opportunity for a Transport Operations Supervisor to join our growing team!
Manage transport operations team to ensure Safety, Customer and Commercial outcomes are met. Responsible for the day-to-day operations completed by the Landside team.
THE KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS ROLE INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Managing Transport Operations within budget expectations to ensure effective provision of ongoing service
- Ensure Safety and Compliance within the inhouse transport group (following NHVR regulations)
- Manage the execution of transport functions for all internal and external stakeholders
- Planning and oversight of Customer Deliveries ensuring we meet service level agreements
- Ensure invoicing accuracy from a Transport perspective for Receivables and Payables
- Act as the super user for the TMS and key point of contact within the Transport team for the implementation project
- Provide leadership, direction and coaching for all direct reports
- Manage the onboarding of all new team members along with ensuring all ongoing training requirements are met for current team
