Job Description Joining CML as Transport Operations Support, you will be responsible for providing general administration support to the Transport Department. Salary: £27,618 per annum. Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off, 18:00 to 06:00. Key Duties of a Transport Operations Support Clerk: Correctly debrief drivers Checking all timesheets for correct completion and ensuring all PODs are returned completed correctly Scanning and storing PODs using Culina’s document management system Preparing drivers’ wallets and issuing delivery notes in drop sequence plus any other relevant delivery information Printing all despatch notes and replenishing despatch paper as required Answering the telephone and assisting with any enquiries Downloading drivers’ cards / tachographs Ensuring all estimated time of arrivals (ETAs) are communicated to Customer Services Consistently updating all spreadsheets including, but not limited to; change-overs, run summaries and trailer check sheets Departing & Completing of loads using Transport Management System (TMS) Ensuring all uplifts are despatched in correct loads Ensure all trailers are tracked Qualifications Attention to detail / accuracy Ability to work without direct supervision Adaptable approach to work / training Conscientious and reliable Positive and adaptable attitude Excellent communication skills in order to deliver accurate information Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure Effectively prioritise work load in order to meet set deadlines Good standard of computer literacy, particularly MS Office e.g. PowerPoint, Word and Excel Able to work as part of a team or individually Additional Information As part of our drive to make CML a great place to work, we are proud to be an inclusive and diverse organisation where we are committed to employee development and recognising success for hard working performers.
