Your new role:

As the Transport Operations Support Manager, you will take ownership of the end-to-end transport administration function, leading a national team while driving accuracy, process improvement and commercial outcomes.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and developing transport administration teams, creating a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
  • Standardising processes and implementing best-practice frameworks across the business
  • Overseeing invoicing, billing accuracy, reconciliations and revenue integrity controls
  • Managing customer, subcontractor and pricing setup within the Freight Management System
  • Developing reporting, dashboards and KPIs to support business decisions
  • Identifying and implementing automation initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce manual processes
  • Partnering with Operations and Finance teams to improve workflows, compliance and customer outcomes
  • Reviewing rates, margins and commercial performance to protect profitability
  • Managing supplier relationships and supporting cost control initiatives
  • Supporting credit risk management activities through customer credit monitoring and reporting systems

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Previous experience in a senior transport, logistics or fleet administration leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of Freight Management Systems and transport administration processes
  • Demonstrated experience leading multi-site or national teams
  • Strong commercial acumen and a focus on revenue protection and operational efficiency
  • Proven track record in process improvement, automation and systems enhancement
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • A hands on leadership style with the ability to influence and drive change
  • High attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
